How to choose a 21.6 to 31.9 inch display
- Duty cycle: signage and kiosks often run 24/7, so ask for panels rated for continuous operation.
- Brightness: window-facing and semi-outdoor displays need well above standard brightness to stay readable.
- Interface: larger panels may use LVDS or V-by-One. A controller board lets you drive them from HDMI or DisplayPort.
- Mounting: plan for the weight and the heat of a larger panel when designing the enclosure.
